Who is Belinda Wood - Bee? How did my Journey bring me here today?

Many people know me as Bee.  I have called Tingley in West Yorkshire my home for 24 years. 

My roots

I grew up in South Africa with an African 'nanny' (who is an amazingly spiritual sangoma - powerful medicine lady) I still call her "umama" - Zulu for Mum.  Together with my mum (who was also born psychic and is extremely spiritual), they encouraged and taught me many spiritual ways and lessons.  A true privilege and legacy to be taught by two mums with gifts themselves. 

Moving to West Yorkshire

In my early 20's I had a calling to move to West Yorkshire where we forged a beautiful life raising our family.  From being tiny, I used to tell everyone I have a brother but of course I didn't so was told not to be silly.  Recently in 2019 - an man called Richard found me out of the blue.  I learned that he is my brother from my dads first girlfriend in Canada.  A big surprise and gift.  He unbelievably lives less than 30 mins down the road where he grew up.  Now I know why there was such a strong urge to come to West Yorkshire. 

When did I realise I was spiritual and had a spiritual gift

I have been aware of my links to the spirit realms since I was a little girl, starting with remembering snippets of one of my past lives in Egypt.   From the time I picked up a pen, I drew pictures of the Pyramids, sphinx, palm trees and tunnels.  My mum took me to a man called Peter Becker who started and ran our local spiritualist church.  He explained to my mum what I could see in my visions saying I was an Initiate in training to become a high priestess.  During my hypnotherapy training one of the modules was learning about past life regression.  I learned during this , that my initiation was unsuccessful and I died inside a dark damp smelling chamber.  It was quite a realistic and traumatic experience. 

For as long as I can remember I've had the gift of Clairvoyance, Claircognizance and Clairsentience. and clairaudience.  I see detailed snippets of events, feels what they went through and have a knowing of what happened.  Or I will hear a word until, I ask do you know... that starts the connection.  Atm I don't consider myself a medium but rather having a good connection to spirit.  Although sometimes persistent messages come through for my clients, until I tell them. 

A significant time was when I was 12, a close friend died on the way to a sleepover.  A few months later, the group was walking down the road where I saw her walking towards us and I excitedly pointed her out to my friends.  Of course no one else could see her and I was branded as cuckoo with a lot of teasing happening after that.  It was the first time I realised that other people were different to me.  From being a teen until my mid 20's, I kept my gift secret and in essence put it to sleep, often calling it 'hocus pocus'. 

Peter and other guides

My gift was reignited after I completed my clinical reflexology course, where I became aware of a familiar man standing very close-by guiding me.  He is Peter, the man from the spiritualist church, who I knew growing up.  He showed me the areas where my clients needed help.  My hands felt so big and I felt so relaxed and happy to know that he is a strong influence in my reflexology healing journey.  He helps me to feel areas affected with illness.  Sometimes, he also alerts me by making me very aware of unusual odours.  As I cannot diagnose (not a Dr) I do refer clients to their GP's for further medical help.  Peter helps to link to peoples families, friends etc

Raylon is my Native American guide.  He works with me when I am doing spiritual/reiki healing.  Sometimes Peter and Raylon work together but usually its either or.  I started feeling Raylon working with me in 2016.  When I work with him, I feel like a gentle giant.  I see and feel energy when I work with him.  I feel how everything in our world is connected.  He shows me how the world works.

A few years ago, I became aware of a powerful African warrior, he is behind me when i need strength (physically and emotionally) and he is the protector of all of us.  When we are working in circles, he makes sure that we are safe. 

My dad has also started working with me.  I believe he was at my side when I was building the studio.  He guided me the whole way.  a true gift and privilege. 

My life long guide is a nun called Rosy.  She has been protecting me and guiding me since I was born.  I used to see her in my minds eye and draw pictures of her on my wallpaper.  Thankfully my mum never showed any disappointment, always encouraging me, saying how beautiful Rosy is. 

I also have my gatekeeper who is like the bouncer of my team.  He only allows in the highest, brightest and the best into our space.   He is also the overseer of the akashic records. 

Alongside my close team, we also work with Archangels and Ascended masters. 

How did I turn ridicule and judgement around?

"You have to own it and turn it into a passion.  You have to trust your spirit team to help and guide you too. 

I realised that people's reaction,  is all to do with them and has nothing to do with me"  That is exactly what I did.  I ignored it and when people started commentating on inaccuracies. I started gaining confidence.  I am not always right or get the details a little wonky but it is pretty close.  I also studied many avenues, so that I can be the best, working closely with spirit to help my fellow humans in a non judgemental way, caring way.

I am a highly trained clinical practitioner and therapist with decades of studying and experience in Clinical Reflexology, Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy as well as having qualified in Reiki, also doing Spiritual healing, distance healing, crystal healing, helping patients overcome issues from mental health issues to physical ailments (holistically alongside their medical treatment) to create balance and the perfect platform for healing to start.

Reflexology

To date, I have helped many people around the world.  My practice has seen thousands of people over the years and I have treated well over 600 pregnant ladies to have an easier labour, using clinical reflexology and more recently using both hypnotherapy and reflexology.  The results make me even more passionate about the healing power of Reflexology and how your subconscious mind is so essential in your life.   

I also have helped infertile couples realise their dream of having a family. 

I have helped people with chronic pain from various neurological issues.  You name it, I most likely have treated a client with that ailment. 

I have helped people suffering with lymphoma to manage their condition using reflexology. 

I have also helped parents and grandparents teaching them basic useful reflexology & massage tips and routines to help issues with their babies/grandchildren at home - its also a fun time to make friends and connect with other people who are also experiencing similar things/feelings. 

I have also helped many people who struggle at home feeling overwhelmed to keep order and have collections of possessions (to varying degrees) working on the body, mind and soul/spirit to find personal solutions and grow so that they can release trauma to cope and manage their hoards.  I then help them to sort, organise and clean. 

Although I am intuitive and spiritual and work with my spirit guides to obtain the best outcome for you, I am probably the least spooky person you will meet.

Memberships & Insurance

I am fully insured and am a full member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) and the CNHC (register for regulating Complementary healthcare) You can be rest assured that you are in safe healing hands and it means if you have medical aid - you can claim for your treatments to a certain amount... Isn't that wonderful.
